The End Of The Line

It's slightly ironic (though a little cold-hearted) to consider that trains all over the country are stopping, being cancelled and generally not running, just as I myself am coming to the end of the line at University. A lot has happened in the last couple of weeks. Where to begin?!

After handing in my final project report, and being thoroughly underwhelmed, I prepared for my final presentation and project viva.

Marriages, Magic wands and Meseum

I've been a little lax about posting on this delightful little web log recently, so apologies. Here's a little update (or possibly a big one, we'll see...)

Yesterday I went to the second wedding I've attended this year. The first was that of my friends Emma and Ben, down in Sussex. That was a nice little ceremony in Lewes, followed by a fantastically relaxed lunch (bangers and mash - score!)

When I Was 22...

...it was a very good year. No, it actually was. Well OK, is.

It all started pretty well with my best set of uni results ever, an awesome week's holiday with friends and a great summer. 2 weeks sailing in Turkey was one of the best holidays ever, and then my 4th year at uni has been pretty OK too. But most of all, my big news...

For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of seeing or speaking to me in the last week, I have a job! Woo!

iWant

OK, so after all the rumours, the teasing, the "will they, won't they?", Apple finally released the iPhone. Shockingly, it was even called iPhone. I mean, how passe is that?! But oh my lord I want one. More than I've ever wanted anything. Well, nearly. I mean, it's a lovely phone, it's a great improvement on the iPod as a portable media device, (words I never thought I'd utter) and it's the most amazing small-device web browser I've ever seen. But that all pales in comparison to the multi-touch interface. It makes every phone, every MP3 player, look like they were designed by monkeys. I'd better stop, I'm drooling....
